There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Maggie Valley Hotels

:yes:We had such a great time at Spyderfest that we are thinking about going to Maggie Valley - any suggestions on hotels - Holiday Inn Express sounds good - however it's in Cherokee :dontknow:- not sure I want to ride to Cherokee at night after the festivities are over in Maggie Valley. Thanks for your input!

I am at Best Western Maggie Valley ,but there are at least six decent hotels in Maggie Valley and while the ride to Cherokee is pretty in daytime, it can be a pain at night..

We are staying at the Smokey Falls Lodge which is located at 2550 Soco Road in Maggie Valley. We booked a king room for $89 per night. I think the ending festivities are going to be fairly close. Phone number is 828-926-7440 or 877-926-7440. Looks like a nice place on its website and it's 71/2 miles from Cherokee.

we are staying at A Holiday Motel....across the street is Comfort Inn ....the Fairgrounds is right there near...like walking ....

We are staying in a Pet Friendly hotel in Maggie Valley. I think the name is the Alamo. They do pet sitting since we might be back late. We are taking our children in this trip. Gracie-lab mix, Oscar & Phoebe - daschunds!!

It will be tons of fun!!

We got a room at the Microtel in Maggie Valley, not sure how bi it is and if there are any rooms still available. We stayed in one of these for SITS last fall and it was very nice.

If any of you decide to stay in Cherokee I can HIGHLY recommend the Comfort Inn On the River. http://www.comfortinn.com/hotel-cherokee-north_carolina-NC401

We stayed there Sunday and Monday night after we left Spyderfest and loved it. The rooms are clean, the setting is beautiful (each room has a balcony overlooking the river) and the price is right.

When you're riding in that part of NC don't miss out on this sweet little stretch of road, NC28 from Bryson City to Franklin http://goo.gl/maps/5nit

:clap:Just booked two Suites at the Microtel Inn - one for Wayne and I, the other for my brother and sister-in-law that don't know they are going yet

Pampchic (Janice) and I just booked our room at the Microtel in Maggie Valley which is basically right next door to the festivity grounds. Paid roughly $75.00 per night (including taxes) on Expedia. Not sure why the need to travel back to Cherokee...good bars maybe? :dontknow:

I don't think it's a need just yet but if the event is well attended it's likely good rooms in Maggie will become scarce. Cherokee is the next best option. There's also some nightlife in Cherokee (casino) for those into that.

Not necessarily for the bars but quickest way to get into The Smokie Mtn. National park.. to RIDE...RIDE...RIDE... and a nice loop back to Maggie Valley down the Blue Ridge Pkwy...:2thumbs:

Cherokee has the base hotel for the event booked by BRP. We're staying at the Comfort Inn in Maggie Valley.

Same here. Cindy and I got a small cabin (actually an oversized tool shed with kitchen, etc.) It looks clean and very comfortable.
