• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking to purchase the adjustable madstad wind shield but not sure what tint to get light gray or medium gray anyone who have purchase one what tint do you suggest for day time riding thank you:sour::sour::sour:

MADSTAD ! simply the best after market shield made. I have two of them one on my
Honda ST1100 and one on my 2008 Spyder GS. OK here is the big question...
Do you ware your sun glasses while you ride at night? if so get the dark one but if you
don't,... get the CLEAR shield having a tinted shield is nice in the day but at night you
may as well have on dark glasses, I had the dark one, Med tint not dark on my ST and
I felt it was not safe at night but you be the judge. but as for quality they are second to none.

I have light gray Madstad windshield and I wear prescription sunglasses with full face helmet while riding. I don't really notice the windshield day or night.....

I had the light gray & it was nice. Mark at madstad was great at getting me all setup

Huh, didn't know they changed their colors. When I bought mine, I bought a "Smoke"-- don't know what that compares to with their new color scheme.

That said, the Smoke is pretty dark, but it's fine to see through. I say "through," because I also made sure to buy the 24" shield, and I use it with the brackets fully extended. *NO* air turbulence, air sails right over my helmet and it's nicely quiet behind the shield (see below for example):
