Madstad Windshield for F3... thoughts?

So I am on the verge of purchasing a 2015 Spyder F3-S and I'm looking at the Madstad Windshield for the F3. I loved it on the 2009 GS my husband had years ago, but wondered what the fit, look, and function was like on the F3.

I am 5'4", but my husband is 6'2". I am going to purchase the 18" windshield as I will be the primary rider of the F3.

So chime in here if you can on the Madstad for the F3.

Thanks.

I have one on mine. I am 5' 6". It is one of the best windshields I have ever had. Some complain that it moves when you ride but it is rubber mounted so it should move a little. Sense I got mine they have upgraded the brackets bigger and I think that has helped. The movement does not bother me.

We had one on a 2009 GS and loved it. Just was wondering about how it was on the F3. What size did you get? I was looking at the 18". Any photos?

I have one on my F-3 and am very happy with it. I'm 6'3" with short legs so my height is from the waist up. I ordered the 22 inch and have it set as high as it will go which is perfect. However, I wanted it a bit wider so I'm returning this one for one that is 2 inches taller and 4 inches wider. This way I can set it down a bit and have more adjustments. However, when you order 4 inches wider - you cannot return the shield. Here's why I chose Madstad: It is adjustable - they will let you return for a different side (you pay shipping) - and I found that they have been great to deal with. I'm very happy - and can't wait to get one a bit wider.

Yeah, I love dealing with them. My husband who will occasionally ride it until he gets his, is also about 6'3" with short legs. I am 5'4" I was considering the 18" that will be mostly for me, but will work okay for him... especially if I add a lip to the top for him.

Thanks all of the feedback. I'd love to see photos of installs.

Ditto - Great Choice!

zero complaints! Love the cross bar...allows mounting of a fork bag above the speedometer (sunglasses, etc. storage).
Took about 6 or 7 adjustments before it was "perfect," but it is, "perfect" as far as I'm concerned.
Have noticed NO vibration or moving around of any kind, except at high speeds when also getting a strong cross wind...then the screen does vibrate a bit...but most do in those situations.

No buyer's remorse here.

Love mine. Owner even swapped my windshield for a taller one after 6 months for just the shipping charge. Great customer service

I'm your height and had this screen on my F3S. Be aware that you will be looking around/through the mounting bracket hardware. That plus the shaking screen did not work for me. I had a Madstad on my Triumph Tiger and it worked well with no screen shaking.

Love it!

I'm 6'1" and I went with the medium size windscreen and it works great! I've taken it from Northern Canada to the Gulf of Mexico using it in all weather conditions and it is amazing. I can't say enough good things about it.

I am 5'6" and I look way above the mounting hardware. I would have to be really slumped down to even come close to looking thru the mount.
