• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Madstad mod

I installed my Madstad windshield about two weeks ago. Got the 20 inch one as I'm 6/1 but in the lowest position I was still having to look through about the top 2-3 inches. Wasn't happy with that so I did the mod I saw suggested here moving the top holes to the bottom location in the hardware and drilling new holes in the shield for the upper mount. Basically dropping it 4 inches.
Night and day difference in vibration and now I can lay it back without opening it up at the bottom for airflow to go under it so quite a bit "sleeker" looking.
With the amount of travel available in the hardware I could take it back up the 4 inches and be back where I started, not that I would want too:joke:
Not knocking Madstad but I think a little more thought could have been put in the design and specs. Contacted them about the mod that is supposed to be available to decrease the vibration even more but no response.
Thanks for the post about fixing ourself whoever did it as I could not find it again to thank you personally.
