There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Review: M2 Spring Kit Upgrade for Spyders

Shellback

It is no secret that Can-Am chose to cut corners on shocks and sway bars, so I have been looking for an affordable alternative to aftermarket complete shock spring upgrades. After looking I decided that I would go with M2 Gen III shocks. After giving M2 a call to ask some questions the owner Marcus Mcbain told me about a new option to his shock spring combos, which is a spring kit for your factory shocks. The spring kit cost about half as much as his M2 Gen III shocks and is close to two thirds less than his new Platinum shocks. I decided to go with the spring kit for my wife’s 2019 F3 T, he gave me the choice of installing the kit myself or getting factory shocks with the springs installed by him with a $250 core charge. I went with the stock shocks with spring installed from him, only took 3 business days to get.

When I came home from work Monday afternoon and opened the box, I was surprised by how nice they were! The shocks not only had new springs but also had a new spring perch and preload adjuster with bearings that allow the springs to rotate freely. Three days later I was able to install the new shocks.

After a short shakedown run, I was amazed at how much better her F3 T felt while riding. The nanny was way less likely to intervene when making quick evasive movements like you would if you were surprised by a pothole in the road, and it was over-all less twitchy on our two-lane roads here in Nebraska. You could feel the joints in the road a little more; but had a much more controlled and smoother ride over bigger gaps/small potholes; when braking there was much less dive; and cornering was flatter. I would have to say that this spring upgrade on my wife’s F3 T was almost as big of an improvement as putting a Baja Ron sway bar on her 2021 Ryker Sport was.

Shellback might still be around to confirm this, but it looks/reads to me very much like the Black Shocks & coils in the pics are the originals that came off his F3; while the others are still 'stock' shocks, albeit the upgraded Fox versions, only it looks like they're painted a different colour by M2 & they're fitted with M2 Replacement Spring Perches & Adjustable Collars (sorta like BajaRon's Adjustable collars ;) ) plus the upgraded M2 springs.

The black shocks are stock. The shocks from M2 are stock Fox shock like what came on my 2017 F3 S Daytona 500 and the rear is a stock F3 T shock they have M2 upgrades and ibach springs with 100 lb heaver spring than stock with only a 1/2 inch of preload. You would need to call M2 shocks the number is 573-308-0336 and talk to Marcus Mcbain to get them they are not on his web page yet m2shocks.com but they should be soon. If you want to keep your shocks, you can send your shocks in and have the spring kit installed, or you can do it yourself. They are around $1100.00

I just watched a YouTube video (from one month ago) on M2’s new Platinum shocks for the Spyder and decided to pull the trigger on a set. Then the next video I watched (from two weeks later) was Marcus McBain explaining why he’s going out of business this week?? I am disappointed, but hope that all works out well for him in the end.

Thanks for providing the part # for the front Eibach springs. Would you please provide the part # for the rear Eibach spring.

I've used Eibach springs for other (automotive) applications and I believe you will remain very pleased for their performance.
