• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Luggage

I have on my RS last year on longer trips, And will again this year on RT
for extra storage, I use a duffle type bag on Psgr seat because I ride solo..:(...
Also makes a good backrest...

The passenger hand grips work wonderfully when strapping luggage down. I flew to Phoenix to pick up my wife's RT-AC and here's what it looked like with the "bag" strapped down. Made it all the way from Phoenix, AZ to Portland, OR just fine. (Hope you can see it good enough!)

You mean like this? :D

On the RT at least, be aware that you need to lift the seat to fill up with gas. Might be better to run straps under the seat itself or find some quick disconnect method to hold the bag in place. As often as we need to fill up, it can become a bother!

Baggage

I "tie" mine down with bungy cords and so easily are undone when fuel up time comes. Can see on my RS the bag that I tie down ,also have one for the RT and tie it the same way. Fairly good back rest. That same bag will fit in the RT frunk. Which was a nice thing to have!!! Since the one I have with wheels only fits in the RS( DARN). No need to tie it down like it was on the tail of a JET your body blocks air and it won't go anywhere.:joke:

I have actually tied a load of firewood 50 plus pounds to haul to my campsite, if you do it with thought and carefull planning , you will have no problem. P.S. also carried all my camping stuff attached like a previous post and went 1000 km without a hitch, however filling up for fuel can be a sore spot. Am currently working on a rack design to eliminate this problem, unable to justify a trailer at this point and time. Good luck and have fun.,:2thumbs:
