• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lower Lip

Looking for a few opinions on this subject.
The Lower Lip of the Spyder. Can it be cut off without a harmful result ?
This is the area in the very front end.
I just don't care for the look with that Lower Lip or Ledge on it.
If the front end where to come straight down. It would have a much cleaner
and sharper appearance.
As it is, it looks like a Snow Plow. To me anyway.
BRP, must have had a reason for it being there. Appearance can't be one of them.

My opinion is "No." I have never tested the airflow, but this portion sure appears to be designed to help direct airflow into the radiator and oil cooler. Seems like a rather huge modification to make if the results could prove to be disasterous.

it takes about 3 minutes to remove that lower front lip.

I don't know what it would look like without it,
but If I remember correctly it was about 4 of those push it screw things and two actual screws.
