There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Low Tire Pressures

Hi everyone in the forum! Just got my 2013 RT a few days ago and have been checking things out. The tire pressures are quite low compared to other bikes I have had. Are other guys/gals running the 15psi fronts and 26psi back? Gives a comfortable ride. I really like the RT so far and am reading all the do's and don'ts that I can. :doorag: Mooseman

Yep, they run a bit lower.

You could experiment with a couple of pounds more in the fronts to help cornering but don't get carried away. Two or three pounds of pressure does make a difference on the RT.

We run 17 fronts and 28 rear.

Up to you..!!

you have the manual tire pressure, you have the tire tire pressure and you have almost 12,000 members with their tire pressure...in the end you have to find what works for you. You sometimes sacrifice comfort for handling or visa versa. Then you have stock tires vs auto tires. So start with the recommended and go from there. Like mentioned a pound or two at a time....hang in there you will find the right pressure..!!

Hi Mooseman,

Congrats on your new ryde..... Very nice!!

I've been running 18 in my fronts, and 26 in rear tire. Have gotten excellent ride, handling and mileage out of them.

Have fun, safe ryding!!

:welcome: Start with the recommended pressures. If you are not happy with the handling, experiment a pound plus at a time until you are happy. Do not exceed the number specified on the tire though.

The new 15" tires have less sidewall to flex and absorb highway irregularities.
They seem to be like front tire pressures that are a bit lower than the older bikes...
The older bikes are better running 17 to 20 psi; the 2013s are better down around 15...
But try some different pressures and see which works best for you! :2thumbs:
