low brake fluid light

My 14 RTSE6 gave me a low brake fluid screen warning.
got home shut it off turned it back on to check the code, no code.
cleaned and took off the caps and the fluid lever was fine.
11888 miles.
the light has not come on for 3 days now so I am hoping all is OK.
got me wondering if the sensors was having a bad day.:banghead:

The RT (and maybe other models) have a very fiddley level sensors.
I think prior to 2014 such an error would have sent you into Limp Home Mode Heaven

Just so you know for the next time you need to get the codes before you shut the ignition off. Kill the engine with the kill switch otherwise the codes get stored. Could be you were on an incline long enough and steep enough to trip a sensor. It will stay on till your computer resets. Fuel gauge will do that when going up and down hill...all in the angle. Good to check anyway...:thumbup:

BRAKE FLUID LEVEL

As little as a teaspoon off and this can trigger a code..................overly sensitive ..............imho ,if you add a teaspoon to each it won't hurt anything................Mike :thumbup:

i have a 30 cc syringe so i can add it very slowly and precisely

Mike is right... about six drops low, and the system starts getting cranky. :shocked:
Take your time, and add a very small amount... You can always go back, and add more! :thumbup:
