• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Love the ZZ Tops intro but....

Every time I hear this sound I think of Doc (In a good way) "I am supercharge with Hideaway License plates" :roflblack::yes::firstplace:

Man, you guys are making me feel mighty ancient! The only one that mentioned anything I recognized was Bruiser, and his backup choice of Maybelline. I'll add the Beatles - Hard Day's Night, it always gets the blood moving. There are others, but you youngsters probably never heard of them. :D

Scotty, here's one for ya :D:2thumbs:

You know, while watching one of the Ambasador videos, I think it was Spydeb's, she had "I Been Everywhere" going, and this particular version was really good. The video had her going all over with her Spyder and I thought "that would make a pretty good commercial"! So let's throw that one in too as a nice non-Rock entry!

"or they could do a more mystic, serious spot and use "Hotel California". That would ve cool...

:dontknow:

This works well for the first 30 sec

This one from 32 sec mark

Might have to work the lyrics a bit on this one

I agree with the last sentence. Don't make me get out my LPs. :roflblack::roflblack:Oh yeah, how about Good Golly Miss Molly. Or, more in keeping with the young folks, Meat Loaf's (aka Marvin Aday) Bat out of hell. Of course, being a former drummer, Wipe Out or Topsy part 2 and the aforementioned Ina Goda Da Vida.

My taste runs just a little different. I love CCR. Here are a few of my candidates:

Or pretty much anything by CCR.

I think they did good with La Grange, but this one would have been my second choice. Heard it on an internet radio the other day, now it's stuck on an endless loop in my brain.:gaah::helpsmilie:

That was for Scotty......:D

Lot of great songs here, although I think customers already associate most of them with something. La Grange by ZZ Top was a pretty good choice, although for some reason it reminds me of a Viagra commercial.

If I were a marketer I'd choose a song that's a little less common that speaks to the uniqueness of the Spyder. A couple of ideas...

Choice B: "You ain't seen nothin' yet". Particularly a clip from later in the song (2:45 onward in the link): "you ain't seen nothing yet... here's something you'll never forget... you ain't been around... you need educated... etc" (or something like that).

Choice A: "A girl like you". Video shows a man spotting a Spyder in a parking lot, getting wide-eyed, going up for a closer look and walking around it, maybe even daring to touch it, and finishes with him riding one while the music plays "and now you've come along...yes, you've come along...and I've never met a girl like you before..."
