• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Loud gear noise between 45 and 50 mph

There should be a gap between the belt and the rear pulley flange the thickness of a credit card.

same on mine 2020 F3S from the beginning, a noise like a subway. Belt-tension definitly too tight by factory and NO space between belt and rear-pulley inside. Pressure on the gearbox-pulley too high. I lowered the tension and lined the belt on both pulleys. Result: quiet now and it goes more softly by stop-and-go

That's what I was thinking. Mine is against the flange, I have not looked at the front pully yet but will now. I have to carry mine back to get another piece replaced when it comes in so I'll also have them to check that. Another thing that I noticed is that the passenger seat is not locked into place, never was and will not lock so that's another item to be looked into.

As far as I know, if you have the belt tracking correctly on the rear pulley, it centers on the front pulley OK. It's worked for me.

i have same problem on my 2020 RT-L. Mentioned it dealer service manager thinking it was the front tires. He said it is the drive belt and Can-Am knows about it. Can-Am has received many complaints and is looking into it.

If you go to the RT forum you'll find a long discussion about "the noise between 45-50 mph". Supposedly it's coming from the forward belt pully. There's actually a part number posted in the discussion. #219 800 509.
