Well, yesterday while we were riding, there was a popping sound in the earphones and my wife's mic went dead. I pulled over and found a short in the passenger pigtail. I swapped out with my pigtail and all was OK except my wife could not hear the radio. She could hear and talk on the ICOM, but no radio. I did some trouble shooting today and it seems that the back seat has no problem with the CB or the ICOM, but cannot hear any of the radios or iPod.
Any ideas?
It's going to the shop for the clutch rebuilt, so I guess I"ll have them look at it.
Since the CB/ICOM is separate from the radio system and has an automatic override, I suspect the over ride has been fried in the over ride position due to the short. That's just my guess.
Ok, after thinking about it, the over ride can't be the issue. If it was, the front wouldn't have any audio either.
