• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lost inside wheel cap cover

Well, you all have aroused my curiosity, so I went out to the garage and looked for mine, nothing there, just nuts and cotter pins. I had no idea they were even there. They are gone now.

Me too. Just bought a used :ani29: and they were already gone.

I just removed mine. They were loose and came off with very little effort. I'm surprised they were still there. I'll deal with it tomorrow after a trip to the hardware store to get some silicone sealer.

Not a clue

I have got to say that when I started reading this, I didn't have a clue what evryone was talking about. The next day I washed my Spyder and did some checking. Now I know and they are still on board.

After reading this thread late Saturday I checked my two caps and they both were too loose for my liking. I picked up some RTV silicone after yesterday's ride and put a very small dab on each of the three clips on each cap. Today I am satisfied that the caps aren't going anywhere without a concerted effort to remove them.

Very interesting thread...

Went to the garage and inspected the inner front hub coverings on my F3-S. (Upgraded version.) By smushing them, discovered they are the same plastic consistency as a Icee domed lid. Very easy to flick off.

Then went and looked at the inner front hub coverings of my '09 Phantom. (The for-runner to the RS-S.) It is billet aluminum, with an allen screw to hold it on.

Where did something go wrong...:dontknow:

I think it happens pretty regular. I looked at 2015 RTS and its missing the left one. Don't even know if it was there when I purchased it or not but it sure is gone now.:yikes:
