lost a part of the bike? any websites?

when i reached home i realized the back light piece is not there, is there any website that i can order the piece from or should be through the dealer only?

You might be able to find a closer dealer with a parts fiche. I've ordered parts from Robs and always got great service.

I don't think you can buy just the lens. Some have had a problem loosing the lens and have replaced the whole set up with a universal unit from Walmart and here is a post that has a link for an aftermarket replacement.

Those lenses are noted for falling off, :gaah: and cannot be purchased separately. The whole fixture needs to be ordered fom the dealer if you want the same one,..... but many have been replaced under warranty. When you get the new one, replace the short screw with a longer one and put a small amount of silicone on the screw and around the edge of the lens. :2thumbs:

I'm afraid you'll have to order the whole box,. pieces are not available.:sour:
Go after market, Like the previous post's suggest.
Another thought are you still in warranty that might be covered

Magic Man where are you when we need you? How about coming up with a cool LED replacement unit?

Please - no spider theme design on it. Something that looks stock (like the third tail light) and and retails for under $50.

Some pretty good LED replacements out there . Ebay for sure. Sorry I think it has a :spyder2: theme. Imagine that a :spyder2: theme for a :spyder2: !

You are most welcome. There are some great alternatives out there, but a brand new special edition bike should probably remain stock. For a little while at least!!
