• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I do not often chime it but I want to on this one. When I bought a Honda DN-01 a 700 cc automatic motorcycle. Everyone said. "Why would you buy that DN-01 means do not order one". I love the bike and put 36,000 miles on it in 3 years. When I trade in in for my 2014 RT I will shed a tear or two and then enjoy my new ride. My point here is if you love your ride who cares what other people think or what reporters say. You should read the reviews on the Honda.

If you love your ride nothing else matters.

:agree: I kind of looked at those when they first came out...
Can you post any pictures of yours?? :nopic:

Nice...
I thought that the styling was a bit... different! But the transmission and low seat had me ALMOST ready to pull the trigger....
Then, I heard about these gizmos! :D

RE: the DN-01 was a very interesting bike. Sort of like a revival of the 750 Hondamatic (I had a 1976 version)--but with more innovative stuff on it. What kept me off was that I could not sit on the seat and touch the ground. Glad you like yours.

My sister has a DN-01.....she doesn't talk about it much, lol. It didn't really catch on, hers is the only one I've ever seen. Doesn't Honda have a new automatic out now?

Calls the Spyder a "reverse tricycle" and "something Batman would take to Tahoe". Not very flattering report.

I didn't think it was a bad article. He just wasn't excited about the spyder like us spyder lovers are...The one thing that caught my attention is something I hear a lot, "but you can't lean in the curves". I totally respect all of you that love twisties and all of that but I didn't buy the spyder to get as close to a motorcycle as I could without getting one. I bought the spyder because I wanted to experience the open road. Not being able to lean in a curve didn't sway me either way when considering the purchase of a spyder. I bought it because it is safe but to be honest the main reason I bought it is because it looks good and I enjoy people wondering what it will do. 2 wheels, 3 wheels, scooter or whatever it doesn't matter. It is all great as long as it makes the purchaser happy.

Honda has several models with the paddle shifters I think. I'm gonna go to the Honda dealer tomorrow. I can't buy one because there is no room in my garage. I guess I could move though...

DN-01 got a bad rap because of its initial price for a 700cc. I believe it was around $13K. I know they have the Silver Wing Scooter--about 600 cc that is automatic. Not sure if they have others in their current line.

Hell let's get'em where it hurts. Cancel your subscription to the LA times. That will show em. Seriously your view point is only from where you stand. Not all will ever agree with your viewpoint and you can never expect anyone else to.

I did that in 1974. They didn't take my cancellation to heart. Maybe they will take yours seriously. But I kinda doubt it a little.
