• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Loose left mirror

On my 2018 F3L. The left mirror was loose. I am not talking about where the mirror assembly snaps onto the body. But where the mirror connects to the assembly. 2 holes mate to 2 pins and held with 1 screw. I added o-rings to the pins. Went to the auto parts store and they found a couple that fit. O-ring size 007. That snugged up that mirror very nicely.

Lamonster posted a cheap (free) and easy fix for loose F3 mirrors. You just drill and tap (1/4-20) one hole, insert a screw and snug it up. I like free, that's a good price.

I saw that video from Lamont. My mirrors are not really loose in that way. Well not loose enough to put in any effort to do anything about it. If it becomes a problem. I may do that.
