• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking to buy one of this on tuesday

I thought those small bikes are meant for beginners ?????:joke:

Randy,
There's not a motorcyclist alive who can't appreciate a good, lightweight, well-handling small bike for just popping around Town.
The most fun that I had on two-wheels, was on a little Kawi 250cc two-stroke triple... ;)
It sounded like a little sewing machine... :roflblack:; but wind it to the moon and it was as entertaining as watching a litter of piglets scampering around in a slippery bog!

Looks good.

I bought a 2012 RSS, my wife took it, so I purchased a used 2012 250 Ninja, the 250 is great.

It has OK power, (I am 215lbs), and can do anything bigger bikes can do. It can keep up with the Spyder on the flats.

It is very light and nimble, and can outcorner all but the best sportbikes on the curves.

If you like 2 wheels, and normal speeds, you will like the Ninja.

That is the idea, i had an 07 ninja250 and just like you said, it did everything a big bike did, i went everywhere on it and served me well.
I really like the looks of the new 300, it has 10.4hp more than the 2012 and 70mph shows an indicated 6,000 rpm versus 9,000 rpm on the 12, that is what they say anyway, i will find out soon enough.

Glad to hear that they're putting some more torque to the ground to allow the bike to pull taller gears. My only gripe about the Nin250s was the lack of "grunt"...

They are telling me that them things are selling like hot cakes! There is a white one in town and most dealers are taking deposits,, that is on the white ones!! Looks like that is a popular item at this time, headed to rhe deer to see when we can expect the green ones.

Well Good Luck!
Would you dare to leave a deposit; sight unseen, for the green one?
Well,,,, im furious!!!!!!!!!!
Talked to the manager over the phone to get an out the door price on the ninja, $5,255.00
Everything is good, he tells me he has a white one that i can see, all serviced and he was putting 3 more together. Around lunch time i went to the dealer to see the bike thinking that the white bike is going to ride just like the green one so i will test ride the white one.
I showed up with my son (and helper), since i'm working i'm wearing my plumbing uniform, the manager looks at me from head to toe and his attitude changes immediately!!! He ask me "How are you going to pay for it"? I told him my credit was good and there wouldn't be any problem but just in case i would leave him $2,000 in case i dropped it, then i would be obligated to buy it, he said the only way i was going to ride it was buying the bike!!!! He said he needed to make sure i could pay for it!!!:mad:
I told him i was not buying a bike without test riding it first and that was it!!
He turned around on and walked away leaving me there wondering what the hell!!!!!!
I don't know if it was my broken English, my dirty uniform or me being a Mexican or a combination of all of the above but i got really mad and did the unthinkable!!:yikes:

I came to the house, took a shower and changed clothes, jumped on my Spyder, which BTW they sell in that dealer also, went to my bank and got the amount of money needed to buy the bike cash!!
Went back to the dealer, i asked for the manager, when he showed up he was not sure i was the same guy since i did not have my uniform.
I pulled the money out of my wallet and told the guy, "Is this enough money to buy your bike or do i need to leave you my $15,000 spyder as collateral to test ride that stupid thing!!!??? All this while waving the money on his face:shocked:
He apologized a bunch of times and offered me the test ride i wanted, i told him to take his bike and shove it and i would spread the word about how big of a jerk he was... (I wish i could post the words i really used and not get banned):p
His jaw dropped,, he was not expecting such a reaction from a nobody like me:clap:

All the sales personnel was in shock, hope i did not go too far:opps: but i hate to be stereotyped or judged at first sight!!!!:sour:

Well that sure stinks! :gaah:
I don't think that you took your outrage too far at all...
He needed it!
Well there's got to be some other kawasaki Dealerships somewhere nearby... I'd look to place my business where it would be appreciated!
Here's hoping that the rest of your week only gets better! :2thumbs:

Sorry to hear of your terrible experience with the dealer. I hope the free advertising teaches him a good lesson about how to treat customers. If everything went down that way--they have some serious problems with customer relations.
