Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

I am planning on taking several extended trips over the next few months. ACP is still problematic. At this point, I no longer feel that I can rely on the provided navigation.. For the more experienced riders:

1. Do you use a phone mount? If so which one? (The issue is not with my phone but the integration with ACP. If I mount the phone on the handlebars, this may provide a simple solution. The only issue would be the screen size. )
2. For those who opted for a GPS, which one do you use? What has been your experience?
3. Has anyone utilized the BRP navigation that was included in the recent update? If so, what was your experience? (I'm hesitant to use a product by the same company having other software integration issues)

I use a Garmin Zumo XT2 on my trips and works great with a Ram Mount...

Before CAN-AM got Apple CarPlay to work I bought a Garmin Zumo XT GPS and a SlingMods docking station I bought from Spyder Extras.
The dock provides USB power so I rode with the Garmin mounted to the dock and plugged into it's USB power outlet.

Now that CarPlay is working, I've also added a QuadLock case to my iPhone, and a QuadLock handlebar mount.

I have a small travel case for the Garmin, so I still pack it and a USB power cable for it when I travel longer distances. I've been to one location in a deep canyon that had no cell phone signal, which is why I still carry the Garmin.

Because Apple CarPlay has worked fairly reliably for me I haven't really tried the BRP GO!/BRP Connect navigation process.
Also, I like that I can create routes on my desktop computer using the Google Maps application, and then send the routes to my iPhone.
The routes are then usable on my Spyder.
And if I'm attending an event with planned routes, I can import the GPX files they usually provide for the rides.

I'll just say Ditto, Garmin XT2. Been running Garmin GPS on bikes for 25 years, the XT2 is the best to date (but the XT3 has lean angle which is of no interest to Spyder riders.)

I've been using some version of a Garmin since I started riding motorcycles in 2007. Zumo XT2 currently. Had hoped the ACP thing on the Spyder would replace the need for a Garmin but that hasn't been the case for me. And though many people use just a handlebar mounted phone without problems, that just seems like a harsh thing to do to my phone and I can't bring myself to do it regularly. On the rare occasion I do, I use a RAM X-Grip. I find it to be secure, sometimes a little awkward to get the phone on/off, and have to be careful not to put the arms on the phone side buttons. If I was using it all the time, I might look into other options.

We currently use an old Zumo 590 mounted between the handle bars, a really nice location... I've had to repair the on/off button a couple times now and had a heck of a time finding a replacement battery that would work. But, I have and it still works great, and with updated maps. If... if we were in the market for a replacement GPS, it would be one of the larger SxS GPS... 8 inch screen, I believe.

Once you've used a device with that big of a screen, it's hard to go back! So our next GPS would be the Garmin Tread SxS.
I believe it would fit between the handlebars just fine.

I know many people like doing their routing on the computer, but I'm not one of them. I can do everything I need on the device.

I just use Apple Maps on the iPhone.

I save routes by sending them to Apple Notes.

I just find the route under Notes, select it and it starts Maps with the route I selected (Maps doesn't save routes by name).

I sometimes have used Google Maps, but I prefer Apple Maps to be honest.

I don't bother to connect my iPhone or Helmet to the Spyder. I just use a USB Power cable for the phone and connect my helmet to the phone.

I know there's CarPlay on the display, but I don't really bother to use it to be honest.

I have a Garmin Zumo XT, Android Auto/CAP display, and a Pixel 8 Pro smart phone. I like using Google maps on the desk top and sending them to the phone. The Android Auto screen allows the use of gloves where the phone does not. Also, in hot weather, the phone will over heat. However, the Garmin and AA/CAP display does not.

Garmin Zumos for years. Designed for Motorcycles from ground up.
My 595 is still going strong (see avatar).
Waterproof, sun proof, shake (& crash) proof. Glove-friendly.
Doesn't drain the phone resources, works in cell-less areas.
Phones overheat and shut down on hot sunny days.

Since I have a 2022 Spyder I added an Aoocci device which brings reliable CarPlay to the trike. It also has front and rear dash cams. It's been flawless for over a year.

my Tom Tom screen has gotten smaller as I have gotten older So I recently installed a Carpuride 7 inch screen purchased on Amazon. Any Apps I put on my phone are mirrored on the Carpuride. It also allows me to answer my phone, listen to music, and to see Waze. Very bright adjustable screen.

With you having a 2025 bike, hook your phone to the USB in the upper compartment and use Carplay on the bike, using the GPS apps off your phone. I just came off an 8 day trip with my 2024 and it worked for me. I wear a half helmet, so no headphones, I just look down onto the screen to see when I need to make a turn.

I have an older Zumo 665 mounted in the center using a power block from Slingmods. I also have an X-Grip for my phone off the back of the handlebar cuff on the right side using a 3" arm, but I'm planning on getting the 5" arm to get the phone a bit more out of my way. I pair the Zumo to my Sena as well as my phone. When I'm wanting dynamic routing, I use Google maps or Waze on the phone and turn off routing on the Zumo and just listen to XM radio or the mp3 files I have stored there. I have not been successful in getting the bike to recognize my cell phone (Pixel 7 Pro XL), so I have not tried routing with BRP GO.

I'm a bit fan of a dedicated GPS having been using them since 2009. I initially had a TomTom but hated their customer (lack of ) support. Moved to the 660 and 665 Garmins (same device except for XM radio support). I have a 660 on my Norge and use the 665 on the Spyder. The only reason I don't have a 665 on the Norge is the lack of a good location to mount the antenna. I have a 590 but it sits on my desk waiting for me to figure out what I want to do with it. The 660/665 were the last ones to support internal .mp3 files, although I believe the new XT3 had brought that feature back. Unfortunately, they have not brought back XM radio support. I really don't want to be streaming that from my cell phone.
