Hey all just passed my road test yesterday yay! Looking to purchase a back rest for a passenger for a 2012 can am spyder rs-s wheres a good place to get one?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Firstly if you want to get the official Can-am one be aware that for that model you need to buy the rack (if you haven't got it fitted already) and the backrest as the backrest mounts to the rack. I think they may have changed this with the later models (2013 onwards) but not sure.
However I recommend the SmoothSpyder backrest (,http://www.smoothspyder.com/gs-rs-st-backrest/) that's what I've got on my 2011 RS and it works really well. What I like about it is that it doubles as a rider backrest when you don't have a pillion. Personally I prefer the look of it as well. Will post a pic of the one on mine when I find one.
