• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yes, it would be interesting to tour where some of my favorite brands are made. I would also hold on the free samples--but would not object to some to go for sampling at a later time. :roflblack:

It is a beautiful ride and I enjoyed the distilleries even though I'm not much of a drinker. Really beautiful architecture and countryside.

Jailer's Inn

If you are looking for a nice Bed and Breakfast to stay in at Bardstown, KY, I recommend the Jailer's Inn. It is an old jail with bars on the windows. Very cool place.

We are going in September!

Hubby and I are going in September for a little ryde along the bourbon trail also! We are spending three nights at the Gardens Inn in southern Indiana (a motorcycle only bed & breakfast) then onto Lawrenceberg, KY to stay at one of the very best B&B's - the Lawrenceberg Bed & Breakfast. They are right there in the middle of Wld Turkey and Roses. We've got three nights there. And then back up to Indy for a night, and then home. Should be a great trip, and thankfully since we are ryding, there won't be much room for my hubby to pick up souveniors.:clap: He's kinda a gatherer if you know what I mean. :roflblack:

Have a great time and make sure to give us the tips from your travel!

tenative routes

have you ever done any of these tours before. the regular Jack Daniels tour takes between an hour and an hour and a half and if you want to do the tasting tour there is usually a waiting list for that. Just trying to help you plan your days. I hope this helps. I'm not sure of any of the others.

the tours at each distillery will take a couple of hours....maybe longer....you'll do good to visit 4...maybe 5 in a day...check the opening times and closing times

will definitely keep that in mind..... thanks for passing the info & hope some Spyders can go..... my buddy Shane is posting on his forum as well & he will be on a Victory Cross Country.

I don't hold it against him that he's still on 2 wheels......

I'm just me...... riding on three

hahaha
