• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Look what I got today

What brand of Tires?

I bought all my Tires at Discount Tire for around $250... I removed all the wheels in my Garage, took them to town, and had a young guy who runs his own motor cycle shop remove and replace all 3 tires for about $55... He did a great job, and if I ever have to do it again, I hope he is still in there!

Just wanted to know, what brand of tires did you purchase?
Were these tires the same as the OP Posted?
I just wanted to know if you got a better price.
Apples to Apples.
Thanks ......:spyder:

Ohhh, soo sorry. I bought Kumho ESCTA 225/50R15, seems like that tire was about $98 best I remember, and the fronts were Sincera 165/65R14 at about $65 each. Hope this helps.

Tire Rack

Just ordered on Friday from Tire Rack

I tried to order Vredestein tires for my 2018 F3 Limited a week ago and they kept cancelling the order because they can't sell car tires to put on a motorcycle. :gaah: Just wondering how you get around the car tire on motorcycle problem. I ended up getting Kumhos from a friend who has a tire store. His distributor didn't have access to Vredestien tires. Just looking for information for next time!

Technically the Spyder has "J" type Automobile rims.
Tell the shop the tires are for a trailer.
Worked for me.

I ordered online. When the question comes up as to what vehicle they are for, there is an option to not specify. They don't need to know.

Thanks for the tip! I will do that next time. I loved my last set of Vredesteins and wanted another set but you can't always get what you want, but f you try sometimes you get what you need.

Put all the same tires on my wifes 2014 RTS, vredstrien 175/55/15 on front, she loves the way they handle at 18psi.
Already had the General Altimax RT43 in 215/60/15 on the rear at 26psi.

Just got the vredestien 205/60/15 for the rear of my 2014 RTS after running the General Altimax RT43 which got 25,000 out of it.

I have the same setup front and rear.....16 lb. front, 18 lb. rear.....nice ride, handles great. I’d rethink the 26 lb. rear and also lose a pound or two in the front. jnho
