Well, got my orders and am leaving for Afghanistan in December/January. I am asking for tips on long-term storage of my Spyder. :helpsmilie: Do I put on blocks to get the weight of the tires? If so, how do i jack the whole thing up and where would you recommend putting the blocks? What do I do with all the fluids? I have never done anything like this and have no knowledge of this process. I am asking for your help this far in advance so i do not screw it up. Thanks.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The shop manual goes into detail on the engine lubrication. If you want to see what the shop manual says, PM me and I will send you a scan of the pages.
You don't mention where you will be storing it (garage?) or if you have anyone that can check on it, but in general, for long term storage, I would think the Winter Storage procedures should do you fine.
