• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all...need some pointers for long term storage. Basically I have decided to sell the Spyder and I am parking it until said time that it is sold. What should be done other than keeping it on a battery tender and stabilizer in the fuel??

take some photos of it and post it here on the for sale forum.

the longer you hold it the less it will be worth.

TIRES

IF YOU THINK IT WILL BE SOME TIME BEFORE IT'S SOLD, YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER GETTING UP OFF THE TIRES....
OTHER THAN THAT, I THINK YOU'VE GOT IT PRETTY MUCH COVERED.... OH, USE 'BLUE' STA-BIL IF YOU HAVE 'E' GAS IN IT, AND KEEP THE TANK FULL...

The fuel stabilizer and battery tender should cover your needs...
Good luck with the sale!
And :agree: with Joe: List it in here!

It is listed in the For Sale area on here. I am going to post up some more pics after this weekend. The weather is going to break so I will roll it out and get some better up to date pics. Hoping it sells soon but I am not holding my breath on it.

No way to get it off its tires. I plan on rolling it out of the garage a couple of times a month and rolling it down the road. It is parked on carpet remnants though. I have always done that with my bikes. What is the difference between the red and blue sta-bil and can they be mixed? I have the red in it right now.

I've never tried to mix them; you might want to take a close look at the label, for any warnings about that. I'm about 100% sure that you'd lose any effectiveness that it had when dealing with ethanol. :dontknow:
