• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Little Guy 4x7 Deuce Teardrop Trailer

This is just me. I think the weight limit is due to wheel bearings and swing arm bearings. 100 hp plus is enough to pull a trailer. Other problem would be with the slipper clutch on SE5 and SE6 units. If one does not keep the clutch locked up above 4000 rpms this would spell big trouble. I have seen a SE5 unit all burned up due to running with a trailer below 4000 rpm. Just saying. Good luck ya'll, I never could stand to have someone tell me I can not do something.

Yeah, I dont like people telling me I cant do something sometimes also. I will spend alot of money repairing something just to prove I could do it. Just shows I'm not the smartest person around. But then again, I do remember my mom and dad telling me that when I was younger.:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

SpongeBob, I have to thank you for pointing me towards the Micro-Lite brand of trailers. I've been in contact with them and this may just be the better option for me!

According to the pic below, no need for me to be a trailblazer.

Tear Drop trailer

Here are two more options, I love the MyPod but it,s the tounge weight is to heavy , but the Tear Drop is ultra light and is a very good option. One of our club members brought it to one of the meetings to show and tell.

This one from Miller definitely shows some potential.
I guess that you've just got to get around the pricing...

Deposit is going out tomorrow. I was told three to four weeks to schedule the build. If anyone is interested, here's the down and dirty.

...And I sent a message to his from his website...
Let's hope that he answers at lease one of us! :D

Seems like they're not quite ready for primetime.:helpsmilie:

On the other hand, Micro-Lite seems to be a solid company that understands our market pretty well.

I thought I'd toss this one out there, Jim at Gunlake Paddlesports who is a distributor for Micro-Lite has one or two TWIST TR 7 trailers at a discounted rate. Seems the dealership hasn't picked up the units so they were offered up at a decent price. PS..Nothing in it for me, just a great company to work with so far.

 Doesn't CruzrJoe tow one of those, to use as an Outhouse? :roflblack:

That thing IS tiny. You're right though; the wheels and tires might be the weak link in the chain.

EDIT: I see that they have it limited to a 5 mph towing speed... :gaah:

They received my deposit so the build is on! If Jim can get me some pics as it takes shape, I'll post them.
