Limp Mode

I am new to Spyder's, I have an RT, my limp mode light, with an engine light blinking, came on in my drive way, but went off when I started to leave my house, I took it to the dealer, he said that they did not find anything worng.
Brevet05 posted a while back, that he had a problem and he did a clearing maneuver. what is a Clearing Maneuver???===Scooter:dontknow:

I recall a couple.. one turns ignition on and off three times at ten second or less intervals, another turns unit off for two plus minutes and then back on.. Basically you are just giving the computer a chance to reset from a false error reading. It is not uncommon to get a limp mode reading like you got and then reset only to not see the problem ever again. At least that's what happened to me

Or you could be doing 50+ in heavy traffic, as has happened twice to me, and it goes into limp mode and immediately you are doing 20 and trying to avoid getting run over.
