• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'll get flamed for this, I have grown up listening to their music. I get no satisfaction in saying this, but they looked rather long in tooth at the 12/12/12 concert. :roflblack:

:agree: I would have to agree - long in the tooth, but still rockin on

I saw a concert earlier this year on t.v. and Mick was still dancing across the stage, when others his age may be hard pressed to walk across the stage. I did, however, see the ad for Mick to be on a late night show recently and it is as you said- long in the tooth.

After 50 years of an "interesting" lifestyle; what else could you possibly expect??
:agree: Still Rockin'!

Of course they're long in the tooth...they've been living the lifestyle of over 50 years!!

:yikes:

More power to 'em!!

 How'd he get so dang old?? :yikes:

I always kind of dug his sound; even though it wasn't heavy metal!

I remember the first time I saw a picture of the Beatles around 1962, before they came to America. I thought, " who are these mop heads?" Then came the British invasion. That was an interesting time in my life. I love the music of that era.

And they only lasted 7 years as a group...
But their music still resonates so sweetly! :2thumbs:

I see you are a Pink Floyd fan. I'm a casual guitar player (as in not very good). I was always trying to learn the guitar licks to Beatle songs, and of course I was in a Garage band. I built my own tube amp and bass guitar box in High school. I couldn't afford the good stuff.

I'm a fan of any of the early seventies Heavy Metal...
Pink floyd and Jethro Tull are the exceptions that get most airtime...
AC/DC: both pre- and post-Bon Scott
Sabbath
B.O.C.
Deep Purple
Rainbow
Nugent
Johnny winter
Santana
Tower
ZZ Top
All right; I'll even admit to having some Kiss in the CD Library... :opps:
From the Sixties:
Steppenwolf
10 years after
Iron Butterfly
Uriah Heep
Byrds
Stones

I like to keep the wax in my ears terrified! :yikes:

All for the LOVE of MUSIC. Music keeps you alive. Music keeps you young, just like riding spyders "Against The Wind".

I have a vintage Marantz Receiver and Klipsch RF 82's. It still kicks butt.
