• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lights for old style fenders

Hello All,

I have a 17 Spyder RT with the classic (old) style front fenders, I want to run some extra lights for visibility purposes, kind of like the ones Slingmods has on their site but they do not make them for the classic fender. Has anyone on here installed some LED running/turn signal lights? If so where did you get the "kit" if there is one?

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in 09 there weren't any folks making a " fender LED kit " ...... I wanted something that would work on the very outside edge of each fender. ... problem was it's a compound curve ..... I searched the web and found AMBER LED strips that were only 5mm wide X 18in. long and would bend to fit the ARC of the fenders ... they were IP65 rated .... I had to wire them into the fenders using the front marker light for power ... check E-bay for availability .... Mike

I'm sure Superbrightleds.com has them.

I have the TricLeds from Value Accessories. They are easy to mount and look very good. Remove the wheel for ease of access.
