• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lighting Mods

I am looking to put some lighting mods on my new ride. I am thinking about some of the dual color TricLEDS on the front fenders, white in front that turn to red in the rear of the fender. I would also like to put the Knight Rider brake lights on the back and some white thin strip lighting along the bottom front. Also, looking to upgrade the headlights and put on fog lights. I would like to put blue accent lighting on the bottom but it is looking that may be a no-no under the Texas Trans Code.:lecturef_smilie:

Any other suggestions on sites to look for lighting? I have also checked Custom Dynamics.

I do not know about all of the ideas, but I would suggest changing the original fender light to yellow, then add the fender lights in yellow (amber ?) and red. I have them on mine and I love it.
OldManZues.

I have the red/amber TricFenders and amber fender tips and mudflap lights. They are all wired to work on my signals / running lights.

IMHO, get ESI's (Custom Dynamics) triple play as well as the mudflap lights and Bright Sides...add the other 'for show' lights as you go...I would also convert the front fender lights to ESI's fender tipz and the brake lights to ESI's LED brake lights...I went with function first...

Visibility is very important and letting others know where you are going is essential...

:dontknow: I don't know anything about lighting mods at all, but you can feel free to check out my mods thread in my signature for some possible ideas. :D All products used have the vendor and product name to make it easy for others.
