• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Light bulb question

Is a "9005" the correct size for the headlight low/high beam? How about the fog light? what size is that? I'm considering HID (no LED for me) and want to make sure I order the correct bulbs. Thanks.

I'd go with a sponsor here. LaMonster or TriCLED.

If you get a cheap kit, the voltage regulator (a little black box in the cable) can put out a lot of noise and ruin your FM radio, CB, might interfere with the bikes CanBus communication system that lets the computers talk to each other. Several threads talking about HID are pretty active right now. Several people having FM radio reception killed due to poor HID kits. I know an engineer here has tested out TriCLED's new HID kit with expensive equipment and they are nice and quiet.

You've made the right choice - HID puts out a ton of nice looking light!

Yes, or HB3. Same bulb, different numbering system.

Not sure why everyone comments about bad radio reception. I used the "CHEAP HID FROM EBAY" on my Goldwing, Slingshot, Honda Accord & Honda Odyssey without a single problem with the radio or anything else. Been on for a few years and working great.

Having said that, how about the fog light? What size is that?

Neither of the two vendors on this board handles HID. All they have are LED, unless I looked at the wrong page on their site....

Found it. Headlight is a 9005 or HB3. Fog light use an H8.

Thank you all.
