• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

lidlox

We leave the bars straight and we both hang ours. If you hang them so that the helmet is "out" away from the bike, there isn't an issue. Heck, I guess I've never hung it the other way. They are mighty handy to have. And yes, be careful when you unlock them...LOL

We use the ones under the seat
Always works fine

Just take your time dont let helmet bang around

Think the lidlox are kool tho

I love R&R put another dime in the jukebox baby!

Not all helmets are created equal, so be careful with what you try to put under the seat!

I'm interested in getting a set of these.

I've got a 15 RTL with the TriAxis handlebars. I have the bars pulled back as close to the rider that they can go. This rotates the bars inward, which brings them closer into the bike body I believe.

Would a helmet on a LidLox touch the bike body with this type of setup?

I'm just wondering why ryder's don't use the hooks under the seats to secure their helmets? Is there something wrong with them? Thanks
Well for me cause none of my helmets have D rings, mine all have the "seat belt" style closure.

Does anyone know if lid lox can be used with the kuryakin handle clam shells, and not to get greedy, but also with the cramp buster that is added to the end of the kuryakin shells?

I know Kuryakin has its own version of helmet lock bolts to the ISO grips how ive seen mostly & the bolt pattern is quite different. If the clam shells do not extend over the end caps of the bars you should be fine. Lid lox keeps the factory end cap & provides a longer bolt to fit the lock. They work great & have great service if you have any problems. Again lock the bars & you can put the helmet on top where you will not have any hang worries

I wasn't there but I still care! POW /MIA VETS

helmet hanging

I am contemplating buying the Lidlox product but have one question for those of you that have them. Do the helmets hang so low that they hit the side of the spyder especially when the wind is blowing? Thanks.

My wife's small clears easily, for my XXL Scorpion, I turn the bars to raise the helmet just for insurance. With them centered, it clears, but not by much, with the bars hard over I gain a couple of inches of clearance.

I use them on my F3. I cant say my helmet has never hit the side, but I do not have any damage from it. If you're hanging just one helmet, you can turn the bars in the opposite direction and will have plenty of room

My F3L does not have any hooks that I am aware of. I purchased a helmet lock cable for now ... didn't want to spend the $$$ on lidlox.

If you lift the passenger seat, you will see a raised ridge on each side that a d ring will fit over. Then replace and lock the seat. Using those, the helmet(s) do rub on the bike.
