• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Let’s start a fad - passing Spider Rings (from Amazon) to other Spyders

Jeeps pass ducks to other jeeps. I’m trying to pass spider rings (Amazon) to other Spyders, if I see one, which I haven’t. 😎. So far, 4 young boys, and it made them happy. I have several hanging on the bike… they all stay on!
New 2025 RTL. Love it!

Thoughts?

Why bells instead of spiders?
Probably trying to be like the old gremlin bells from long time ago. The story was if a friend gave you a gremlin bell as a gift and you attached it under the frame some place it would keep the gremlins away. If you bought your own gremlin bell and put it on your bike it would not work. Story said it had to be a gift for it to work. A better idea was to just keep your bike in good repair and the gremlins usually stayed away.

The aftermarket sellers on the web sold a lot of the 'official" Gremlin Bells.

I have a gremlin bell on my Spyder.

The bell portion is made from a .50 caliber shell casing, and the clapper is a .223 bullet.

I''m pretty sure it scares the bejesus out the gremlins.
