• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Left the gap with a little less skin

That's a crazy video and I'm still not sure why you went down other than maybe your kickstand high centered you. :dontknow:

You've had a rough few weeks Bro and I hope this is the end of your bad luck. Glad you weren't hurt worst but sorry you went down at all. :banghead:

Been there..!!

glad you were geared up. You were very lucky as well and though I wish it had not happened I wish more could see how well helmets do protect you. Hope you both heal quickly and get back out there and remember to give your self space..!!

Glad you were able to walk away from this, relatively unharmed . . . but if you were out for two minutes, see a doctor. Even a minor brain injury can get very bad, with little or no warning.

:agree::agree::agree:

Getting knocked out = concussion = need to see the doctor. At the very least, the doc will give you a good idea of how long you should rest to heal up the concussion; at the very best, the doc could detect/pre-empt a more serious problem (I'm sure I'm not alone, but I've known people who have hit their heads and suffered severe problems, including bleeding, that didn't show up for days, even weeks, later).

My two cents, your call, but seeing as you already chose to wear your helmet, you obviously have a head worth protecting!

Glad you're ok. Helmet really save your day. Note for riders who don't believe on helmets please think twice.

How long have you riding your diavel?

OUCH!!OUCH!!!OUCH!!! OUCH!! :yikes:Scraped elbow probably from inside of your jacket being NET lined. Pads saved it from being broken!! SEE A DOCTOR NOW Concussions are no laughing matter:lecturef_smilie:, can get DEADLY if not taken care of!! I'm and old LPN have seen some really scary stuff --but your video is a learning experience and should be donated to the school for motor cyclists!!!:2thumbs: So they can see how it can be a bad thing going a little too fast---- and a GOOD thing you had on your gear.:2thumbs:

Being out for 2 minutes is a long time, highly recommend you get checked out. Glad you a here to tell us about it.

VisitedStatesMap.jpegRobert, I'm glad it wasn't more serious. But if you start having headaches or blurred vision, please see a doctor. Being out for two minutes suggests concussion. That can be serious.

:cus: AWESOME DUDE!!!!! Smoke was comin' off your L knee..............................gonna be needin' some new knee sliders soon! :joke: Glad you, the bike, your friend, and other bike didn't come out of it any worse than you did! Wild video!

Play hard, pay hard LOL

Glad you are okay

Like others have said, can't hurt to get checked out.

Wrapping is really no longer recommended. It stops deep breathing and you could end up with pneumonia. Rabtech, your friend may want to check on that.

Bingo!!!! When I broke my ribs in my accident a year and a half ago, the doctors even recommended occasionally coughing to bring "stuff" up so as to not get pneumonia.

I have to agree too. I am still suffering from the aftermath of a head injury while riding. Better to see the doctor and not need him, than to need him and not have seen him. These things can snowball into something threatening way to easily...and days later. See the doc!

On another note, being knocked unconscious while wearing a helmet always brings up the question of that particular helmet's ability to protect. I am a big fan of the Euro standard, which concentrates more on a slow stop to the moving head than penetration of the shell, as the US standards do. Nonetheless, we must live with what is legal here. A big offender in the case of unconscious riders who wore helmets is proper helmet fit. The majority of riders wear too large a helmet size. When you replace your helmet, be sure it fits correctly. I personally changed brands after my incident. That helmet did not do the job it needed to do.

So glad you came out riding and relatively unscathed. I hope your "rash" heals fast and the doc says you are A-OK.

You are very lucky!
I bet that riding jacket has some scars too...
I wanna know----was there a gremlin bell on that duke?:roflblack::roflblack: :roflblack: all joking aside----get checked out. two minutes of lights out could prove serious!!!nojoke

Man that was scary. So glad to hear that you are pretty much okay. If your buddies ribs aren't broken I'd go ahead and break some for him anyway. He was way too close.

Ouch! glad you are ok! As much as I hate putting all the gear on cuz the military makes me, this just hits home of why they make us wear all that stuff! Glad you were wearing all yours!!!

Your elbow has a friction injury from impact INSIDE your jacket. Even though the jacket arm may not have impacted or scraped the pavement, the jacket was violently pulled/shifted and your elbow has what looks like road rash, but is really "Jacket/material rash"... I've had that happen with thick denim before.
