There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. LED mounting tape question

I've been searching googe and have found some #M double sided tapes but, does anyone know what the type of adhesive backing tape manufacturers use on the flex LED strips, etc?

I want to remove and move/relocate some lights on my RT but need to get the right tape to re-mount themm before I do

thanks in advance

I would guess that any of the double-sided stuff that they use to mount scuff strips onto the sides of vehicles would work just fine...
Any auto parts store should be able to get you pointed in the right direction!

LED Mounting Tape

Available at any auto parts store (PEP Boys, Auto Zone etc.) Comes in rolls. Good luck

Tape

3M double sided is the best that I know..Thats what usually comes on most lights with that type of tape. Hope this helps...

thanks for the input

yea, I saw a lot of different types of #M tapes (VHB, etc) and that was what I figured it would be

I already got some of the 3M prep sticks off Amazon

3M

Try your local NAPA or any good supplier of automotive crash parts 3M is very hard to beat quality wise. I have a small piece of a roll that I have been using off of for 10 years now and it is still good and sticky.
