• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I saw this post yesterday on the Can-am ATV forum...Some are using these on their ATV's...

Didn't someone post something on SL several weeks ago about some LED headlights that their husband purchased at a trade show somewhere and they were getting ready to try them???

Anyone have any experience with these???

Responsible comments welcome...

:lecturef_smilie:....Remember ATV's are not ( usually ) road legal ......The Headlights on the Spyder must be DOT certified .......or at least BRIGHT enough to see with,,,,if you are really interested in going LED go to one of our Sponsor's XENON-DEPOT and get some verbal advice about this first........just sayin.....Mike

LED

We will try to install them today. Have 1 customer in front of SpyderAnn, then we will give it a shot. Cross your fingers! Joe

PICS OF HOW IT'S DONE

I just got these LEDs from Xenon Depot.

Anyone figured how to get all the wiring that comes with these LEDs inside the back cover on the headlight unit?

I managed to cram everything inside but the shutter for the "low" beam was jammed, so I had to take it back out.

..........JCThorne did some pics on how He did His , and reports NO problems with the SHUTTER......Mike
