LED Fender Lights keep burning out & now broken wiring - any others?

I put on the LED lights purchased from Custom Dynamics a year and a half ago. The first one burned out last summer after only a few months. Now the second one isn't working. Unfortunately when trying to fix the first one I broke it as the wiring that came with was so short I couldn't make it work. I'm afraid now to dig in to the second one for fear of the same result. Of course the dealer can get to it in about 8 weeks - wonderful! Has anyone had a similar experience? Any helpful suggestions?:banghead:

Mine are still working fine so far. Have you contacted Custom Dynamics?
