• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Leaving the fold.

Ride Safe
Dave

I want to thank everyone for all of the help over the past year and a half. You all have been very helpful with problems I have had. This is indeed a great community with many people who are passionate about there Spyder. However, I never quite became passionate about the Can-Am. This is by no means bashing the

product, just a different passion. I have decided to sale my Spyder and go back to two wheels. Today, I picked up my 2014 Honda Valkyrie F6C with 1700 miles on it. I took it on the chin with the trade but glad to be back on two wheels. As passionate at this website is about pictures..... here is my new ride.

God Speed and may his angels ride with you.

That is why I have more than one motorcycle and the Spyder.

Enjoy by all means, you might want a Spyder in the stable again later. Nothing wrong with having both to enjoy ( a spare for when 1 is down for service or anything) know I enjoy both & the ability to swap back & forth.
(too bad they don't both have more of same components, oil, bulbs, stuff)

My first Spyder was the RSS se5.
I sort of liked the novelty of the Spyder but I grew to intensely dislike the 998 V-Twin with that transmission. Far too busy and crap mpg.
Then Lamont recommended that I tried the F3. And I bought an F3-S..............Chalk and cheese!!
Point I'm trying to make is that the ST is no longer typical of the Spyder experience. There is so much on that model that was improved beyond belief on later 1330cc bikes.
I know you've made your mind up and got yourself a very nice Valk. I also think that this is a situation that may never have arisen had you tried an F3 first.

I love zooming around on my 2015 RT, but I decided to add another to the stable. Just bought a BMW R Nine T and will be delivered in 2 weeks!

I always thought the Pacific Coast was a great-looking, functional bike. Almost bought a used one, but the wife didn't like two wheels anymore and stopped riding. I have my son's Victory Gunner to get my two-wheeled fix.

Mahaflac, Every bike is not for everyone. Some don't like v-twins, some don't like tourers, some don't like..... One must be happy with their ride. Congrats and ride safe!
