• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi All, just want to let you know what a help this forum is to a newbie like myself. I am Ryding the 2012 RT down to Ft. Lauderdale for spring break. We are originally from there and I am longing for the beach. My wife and daughter will trail in the SUV. I have stayed up late night reading all the suggestions on preparing for a road trip. I think I have everything but I will only know that once we hit the road. I added some new Farkle's including Show Chromes backrest. (pic attached) I probably will invest in an action camera later. I will post some pics in the album. It is around 11-12 Hrs including stops from Acworth Ga. To Ft. Lauderdale. I am ready for the first of many Spyder adventures. We may leave around 4:30 AM. (Via I-75). I am always open to your thoughts and travel experiences. Thanks again SL for your love and support:pray:

Stay dry. I'm in middle GA right now, and we've had about 9 inches of rain since last night. Creeks are flooded and roads are extremely wet. Had a tornado touch down several miles away. Have fun, but take precautions. I'll be heading to Valdosta via I 75 around 7 AM. tomorrow. If you need anything, PM me.

Take your Frog Toggs. The weatherman is calling for rain all day (Saturday) at least here in Central, Flarda.

Sounds Great!...

That sounds like a Great trip! I'm envious! I'm sure that you've already thought of this, but take along a quart or 2 of oil, just to keep it topped and running/shifting well. I know my '12 RTL will swig it down on a trip like that.
Ryde Safe!!!

Your set....

Take care be safe and enjoy the trip. ..:ohyea::ohyea: I would ryde the coast myself soooo much more to see and delight from but if time is of the essence I-75 will get you there in a hurry. ..

Make sure you have a couple of quarts of the same oil thats being used in your Spyder. 998 are known oil eaters. I had to add about a pint of oil every 500 miles.
