• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Leaking Frunck

Did some riding in the rain Friday.
Saturday I found some water in the bottom of the Frunck.:sour:
Did forum search and could not find any posts on leaks.
The frunck gasket was in place and the lid seams to seal tight.
There is a seam around frunck below the fuse blocks that was still holding water.

Anyone have a leaking frunck. If so did you find where the water was sneaking into the frunck.

I had leak

My leak was from the button style connector the dealer used when they mounted Sena Bluetooth in frunk. Since has been siliconed, issue fixed.

If your RT is 2013 or later. Make sure the Fuse box access covers and battery access covers are installed correctly. On the battery access cover make sure the side hooks are slide in place and not sitting on top.

Those covers are the most likely culprits...

..And also the easiest ones to fix: just make sure that they lock into place!

Thank you all for the help.

Checked all three covers, battery and both fuse box covers.

Must have been a gorilla that installed the covers, seals are a mess.

The battery cover has the bottom part of the gasket rolled up. :gaah:

Both fuse box cover gaskets are trashed, torn, rolled up. :banghead:

I will need to find replacements.

As new as your spyder is, I'd think that should be covered under warranty?

I have same problem. The seals/gaskets on the two access covers for the fuse boxes are garbage. I have replaced by warranty. Every time these seals/gaskets get deformed when the access covers are sitting in place. Than they seem to leak into frunk
My fix I purchased rubber seal from a hardware store and tore off old foam seals and glued these rubber seals on. So far so good no leaks. $10.00 repair
