• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Leah is home!

Hello Friends.

After 79 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, we were finally able to bring Leah Claire Paquette home on Christmas Eve.

Words can not express the gratitude I feel towards my fellow human beings. The nurses, the doctors, neighbors, old friends, and SpyderLovers everywhere. It chokes me up. Whether it was prayer, kind thoughts and words, or good deeds, somehow we ended up with micro-preemie that turned into a healthy no surprises baby.

A special thanks to DocRiverside and his wife Lee. A mysterious package showed up last week containing a beautiful knitted blanket made by Lee, colorful ceramic letters that spell LEAH... and of course, cookies. Doc and Lee, I had two.. My wife scarfed the rest.

Leah is doing well. Weighing in at 4 pounds, 10 ounces. She had developed what they call ROP in her eyes, but it has since gone away from the right eye. They will be checking the left one again this week... Probably nothing to worry about.

She also will be going through more physical therapy for her legs. They are not sitting properly due to being born early... PT and visits with a specialist + natural growth will make them sit right at her hips with time.

The next few years will tell whether we have other things to worry about in the long term. For now, we are just going to love and enjoy her.

I have a RC Spyder showing up this week for her, and I'll be taking pictures of her on the real Spyder next warm day we get.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I have some pictures but the uploaded won't take them... and I'm short on time as Leah needs to be fed and changed again!

Christmas blessings to Leah and her entire family!! Welcome to the world of miracles! We had one too - 35 years ago. She now has kids of her own.

Some little ones bring a little more excitement with their arrival than others. We were warned that she might have been a handful - yep.

Again - blessings, and Thanks to Who made all possible!

Amen!! 2.5 years ago we had a 1lb 15oz grandson arrive about 3 months early. Today, outside of just being smaller than kids his age, you would never know..... You re blessed.

What a special Christmas treat, Dan! Congratulations. We still look back, 30 years now, when ours came home on December 18th. He's now a fine young man who makes us proud to be his parents. Best wishes to Leah and her family.
