For those who have the newest version of two brother exhaust with the turn down tip AND are not going to tow a trailer.
you can get a little more sound and seems like slightly lower rumble by removing the tip that is now installed on all Spyder exhaust out of the factory.
the tech at 2 brothers said it was to keep the soot off the trailers ... done at the same time they shifted the mounting brackets to clear the trailer hitch bolt. also a help for RTs with the largest windshields sometimes suck back exhaust fumes by the wind vortex.
well I have an ST and noticed it did not sound as nice as the RTS that had the 1st gen 2 brothers carbon black can
So easy fix (just use a torx wrench) I guess they ship with it in the box (could not find mine). I found that a T15 worked but its closer to a T20 (but not a T20) torx. losen all the bolts on end cap and the tip will come right out. reinstall cap and HAND tighten bolts only. Warm and heat cycle exhaust a few times and RE HAND TIGHTEN bolts (dont strip them out)!.
and easy peasy better sound (In my opinion). and maybe a fraction of HP gain as less restrictive. the tip is smaller then the opening of the exhaust so the tip adds some flow restriction.
