• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

16 years of vacation rolled into one....

Last post for me on this thread....

Sad day today. Four times the tranny did not want to stop being engaged and stalled. The last time we had been in the turn lane in traffic. Bad issue on this one though, it would not let me put it in neutral so I could start it. I tried turning off the bike ETC ETC ETC....

In the end what I did was push on the foot brake just enough to make it think I had it fully engaged, and used the starter to move the bike, moved about three feet and fired up. Moved it off the road under it's own power.

This has ended our trip in Cali. Heading home now :gaah::cus:

For what it is worth... We are thankful for the time we have had with it so far and would not sell it for less than $5000 more than what we paid nojoke:ohyea:. This baby is ours and we love it.

Our dealer is top notch. Already getting ready for us. They told us it was time to park it. Now it is a danger to us and all... :( cry... My wife is worried we will be without our bike for a few weeks while this all gets sorted out. Mainly because we think the parts are probably in Canada and the shipping is what will take the most time...

I actually feel bad for the dealer. They have been great. But this is what happens when your on the cutting edge with any new high-end product. Stuff happens....:doorag:

We have a bunch of pics. Hate parking our baby... Oh well! See you on the road in a few weeks (I hope)

Here are a few links to our setup as we prepared...

Very sorry to hear your trip was shortened with this problem. :(

Glad to hear the dealer is good and is waiting on your arrival. Hopefully they will get it sorted out soon, and have you back on the road and smiling again.

First I have to say hi to everyone I've had my spydee since may 2009 but could never post on this site so I sent an email and now it works. :2thumbs:Yes i am a brand new rider ( 2009 se silver moon) with many changes. recently I purchased the exhaust from kewlmetel and much to my supprise it turned out to be a straight pipe, so loud we could't here my husbands harley running and his is very loud, true duels don;t get me wrong sounded awsome, but the neighbor hood :chat:wood only put up with that for long. Glad to see another MI Spyderlover join the ranks. As the summer progresses, look for meet ups and rides. There is a good group of MI folks here and we usually manage to get together at least once or twice.
