LAST ONE (I HOPE)

Getting ready to leave for the hospital for what I hope will be my last surgery for a VERY long time. I am having the rotator cuff repaired and the bicep reattached in my left shoulder. This after two hip replacements in 2017. My kids have admonished me to give up having any surgeries for at least a few years. :lecturef_smilie:I think I'm going to take their advice.:thumbup:

All the best for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Do give yourself time to heal well as it does take a bit longer than it used to and going back for repairs is more painful in many ways...:thumbup:the

I think your kids are right. You need to lay off the surgeries. It's not going to be easy, don't listen to that monkey on your back. Give it up now before your mental addiction becomes a physical one. If you start to feel the need for another, get on SL's immediately, you have friends here that can help.

Home from the hospital, the surgery went great, just had a big bowl of hot soup & some crusty sourdough bread, now to get an ice pack and good drugs. Life is sweet!! Thanks to all for your good wishes. Valerie & I really appreciate it. I really think that it helps with the healing.
