• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

sposed to get one next sat if it dont rain at robs motor sport at johnson creek wis.
road up there sat and talked to the manager and a tech. they said at static height unloaded
the toe in will be around 3/4 - 7/8 toe in. sitting on it will bring it down to around 1/4 to 1/8.
whoa ! is this correct ?! sounds like a little to much to me. need assuring from the gurus.
thanks---irv toms

When you talk about ATVs and see a spec of 10mm, it is measured at the front and back of the wheel. The laser alignment measures toe at a much greater distance so the amount you listed is not too much.

my honda rubicon is set a little less than a 1/4 inch. factory sets
it toed out . this works a lot better. cars an trucks with larger tires
arent set at that much.

The amount it is set at is meaningless without the distance between the front and rear measurements. If your Rubicon is set at less than 1/4 overall, then the distance between the front and rear measurements are likely much shorter than the distance used in laser alignments.

And you want to set Spyders to toe-in slightly if you want them to track straight.

ive been in the body business long before even 4 wheel alignments came out
much. fortunately the honda has a solid rear end. this rts is my first venture
into this kinda of machine at 68 years old. just trying to make sure its gonna
be done right. for me its not only the "y" factor , its the "why" factor. ivve
asked a lot of questions in my search for answers on a new direction of
"biking". spellcheck hasnt been my friend though and i havent proofread
enough. 2 finger typing. thank you for all your help.---irv toms

True Track laser alignment tools use a measuring distance on Spyders of 150 inches between front and rear targets. A toe in range of 1.25 to 1.75 measured across this distance is the target for a good riding spyder with minimum tire wear.

maybe i have to rethink all my years of learning to understand the true track system.
to me thats an awful lot of tire scrub. but you are dividing it in 1/2. still
a lot. this isnt a four wheeler. thank you. newbie jitters and wanting to question
or know everything i can.--irv

Irv, why not PM the experts, Ann and Joe Meyer. They would set your mind to rest.

about 3 wheeled arachnids .

i also have the 70 mph vibration. found it out sat on the interstate.
