There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Laser alignment

My husband and I just got back from a pleasant 780 mile round trip from having our 2013 RTS laser aligned in Edgewater, Florida. Mike and his son at ROLLO LLC (website www.spydercomfort.com) really know how to treat a customer right. We have been to two different dealers trying to get our Spyder aligned, even had the tires exchanged because they were worn so badly. Not until the guys aligned our bike with their new laser procedure have we been satisfied. Our bike finally runs true down the road. So impressed were we by their skills, we asked them to also change the oil and install heat shielding. The engine heat can be unbearable while riding in the Florida sunshine. At our next visit, maybe during their big shindig at Octoberfest, we hope to have Elka shocks installed. I don't believe even the most professional shop would have handled our bike with more loving care than Mike's son, Michael did. Many thanks also to his lovely wife, Crystal, who keep the whole thing running smoothly! Not only have we found a shop worth the drive, we've found some new friends.

Sure wish I lived closer to a dealer who did laser alignments! Might have to bite the bullet and make the ~700 mile round trip ryde to the dealer in Windber PA.

Lamont, any chance you're going to be doing alignments soon? Got one or two friends that need it done. Nice ride from central NC to Greenville Tn and need an excuse to take couple days off. :)

So happy to see smileing spyder ryders sounds like the laser is the way to go for a proper alignment,When i need to have new tires installed ill have my 2012 RSS laser aligned as well at our local shop thanks to CFPS for getting this wonderful machine it takes the guess work out of a truley wonderful ride.

new lazer alingment

I had my bike done by the dealer the old way but it wasn't right , then had it done with the laser at Rolo in edgewater FL and I am very pleased with how it is tracking, if your bike pulls to the right or left or your tires are not lasting get it alinged the laser way, it works

looking forward to my 8:00am appointment on Thursday at spyderquest. can't wait, but guess i'll have to!:thumbup:

laser alignments by ROLO aka the new guys on the block

Luke and Tessera drove down on a blistering hot day to do an alignment...I am SO thankful for this website…. it helps get the word out. cut and bound 2 pieces on the seat where it would touch your inner thighs and stapled that on the underside of the seat, same with a large piece on top of frame under the seat , wrapped the left side header with header wrap and clamped it down AND wrapped the underside of the plastic glove box. Tessera said it worked and they had to drive home in 100 degree weather.

We hope to see them Biketoberfest..

Anyone used the Tn shops?

Has anyone had an alignment at the shop in Elizabethton, Tn?
A friend asked me if I knew about them; she needs her '12 done.

How about Lamont; is he up and running with his yet? I'd rather have her go to him if he's doing it now.

Is anyone aware of laser alignment anywhere in the western states ? Everything I see is East coast, Florida, maybe Tennessee. Somebody could really clean up out here if they had it.

make lots of money

You are SO correct if a individual purchased this system with a "fair" amount of geometry knowledge they could make thousands $$$$. The first 2 dealers in NY paid for their system in ONE WEEK...the system when treated gently is guaranteed for life and made in the USA , what more can I say We just don’t have the man power to cover the country and there is not enough mark $$$ up on the system to pay someone to fly all over the USA

It only makes sense to be the first one on the “ block” to own this system…word gets around and that dealer or person makes a ton of money…if you wait too long the opportunity shrinks as most of the Spyders out there are already aligned. Realistically the only way a Spyder will get knocked back out of alignment is a wreck or hitting pot holes or a curb.

FLAlaserman,

I've had my spyder laser aligned and I give it a . Norm did it and is a great guy.

I have a question. Have you tried to get BRP at their spyder (assembly) factory to do laser alignments instead of continuing to use their current method? Or, is the alignment part of the dealer setup and not done at the factory?

Friday morning, 8am for me,
then a reset of the steering sensors by Progressive.

Bill

Bill,

I'm new to this and you mention steering sensors. Once you have a laser alignment, do you still have to have the steering sensors checked? I had a laser align a few weeks ago and didn't have the steering sensors checked and the spyder seems to be tracking properly.
