• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Laser Alignment Party, Remington VA, 4 Jan '14

Its going to be cold when I leave, Saturday morning! It is getting down to 13 on Friday night :yikes:. . . good thing I bought that Firstgear Thermo suit! I'm looking forward to the ride . . . :ohyea:View attachment 81160

I like DR Buck's forecast better. I figure it'll be in the 20s when I head out at about 8 AM Friday morning.

Dan, you had better go get those insulated boots.

Remington Laser Alignment

Sounds like we will have a fashion show with all of the FirstGear Thermo Suits! Dave, John and I will be at your place around twenty minutes after he arrives at my house.

We are going to be the ONLY bikers on the road Saturday with all this cold they are predicting. Looks like it's supposed to be 1-2" of snow today into Friday morning. With a predicted high of 22 for Friday, won't be much melting. Praying for no ice for Saturday. I will definitely be snapping pics of our Virginia fashions for cold weather riding.

Current Remington Forcast.

This is the current weather forcast for the laser alignment party.

1-2 inches, piece of cake...probably just stick to grassy areas...roads should be clear .

You'll have to post some of those high fashion photos on SpyderLovers.com. They can accompany a post about the huge success of the LAP in Remington VA.

Can't wait to see all you guys .

anyone else from Woodbridge joining you? What route are you taking?

Snow expected for us in Northern VA, so will have to see what the road conditions are on Saturday morning.

Lamont and Harvey will be working all day until the last Spyder is aligned and the ryder is happy, happy, happy. Therefore, it shouldn't be a problem if you need to head out for Remington a little later in the morning? I understand the snow being forecasted is a dry snow so hopefully the winds predicted for Friday will blow all the snow off the roads.

I'm going to try to get there early, so I can be done and home before dark . . . I don't do nighttime riding well in my dotage . . . I've lost too much night vision!

Sharon and I will be riding together from Woodbridge/Dale City, and we plan to rendezvous with Shana/Dana & Sedrick, who will be coming from I-66. Would you like to meet up with us? We plan to leave at 8ish. Pm me if you would like to meet up.

The Girls on Spyders with their white Spyders are headed to Remington in the morning. I got my bike back before closing time. The poor thing has been sitting outside in all of this Virginia rain and snow for two whole weeks! I was not happy. The antifreeze reservoir has been replaced under the extended warranty. No more leaks! I'm out in the garage cussing and removing my Gloryders for the laser alignment. I will post pics tomorrow, I think Lamonster and Spyder Pops have done 4 Spyders already.

It was dark and about 22 degrees when I picked up my bike, I had on my base layers, jeans, polar fleece, snowmobile jacket/pants and neck gaiter and I didn't get cold. Granted I wasn't out for very long. Only my feet were cold, so I'm layering the cold weather socks tomorrow. It's supposed to be 35 or so here in Northern Virginia tomorrow. 11 does sound awful. I hope you can make it though.
