• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Laser Alignment Party, Remington VA, 4 Jan '14

Looks like the weather for our "party" will be clear (no snow, ice, or freezing rain) with temps in the low 40s. Wednesday next week is the go, no-go decision point because Harvey needs to travel to Lamont's homestead in TN on Thursday. So, IF, that forecast holds I will let Lamont know Wednesday afternoon that we are GO for the party. However, I need to confirm that cold will not keep any of us (list follows) from attending the party.

If you're on the list, you have notified me that you want to get your Spyder laser aligned. If you know definitely that you CANNOT make the party please PM me or email me at [email protected] or call me at 757-288-8553 to let me know ASAP.

If your name is not on the above list and you're interested in getting your Spyder laser aligned, contact me as soon as possible so I can add you.

I posted this message on SRA-OD Facebook page as well.

Thanks all,

If anyone lives in the near area and can take advantage of this get together, you owe it to yourself AND your spyder to attend and have the alignment done.

Thanks, Chris. Totally agree with you. So far we have 24 Spyder Owners signed up to get their rydes laser aligned.

Bump. Need to keep this on the Recent Threads or What's New lists for awareness as party date is fast approaching!

I guess I better finish cleaning the garage. :yikes: The date is approaching pretty quick. I'll have to tear myself away from my remodeling projects. :roflblack: Even if your not signed up, stop by and visit and have a cup of coffee.

Dave, looking forward to the "party". We all owe you and Kitty a big THANK YOU for stepping up and volunteering to be our host. This could not have happened without your gracious hospitality...THANK YOU!

I'll see you Friday afternoon. Gonna be a chilly ryde...probably in the 20s when I hit the road Friday morning.

Someone bring a couple of pairs of knee pads for Lamont and Harvey. They both really busted their tails providing this alignment in Edgewater, Flarda, during Biketoberfest. They were on their knees a lot of the time.

Additionally, and I can't say this enough, everyone needs to have this alignment process. Although you "think" your ride is "dialed in", you don't know the half of it until you've had the alignment performed.

I've got the heated gear all ready to go... now I'm just hoping Thursday's storm doesn't track south enough to make a Friday ride a mess!

I'm glad to see so many of you riders gearing up to do this. We will do or best to make sure it's worth it for you all. Looking forward to seeing you. :doorag:

Dave, you and about 23-24 more of us are hoping the same thing. Current forecast is calling for snow down here in my neck of the woods. Hope the typically wrong weather forecasters are consistent and get it wrong again .

Forecast as of Wednesday morning.

Looking good. Cold weather not a problem for Lamont and Harvey...they'll be arriving in Lamont's Christmas present...a new Ram pickup truck!

The overnight low temp for Friday is looking better all the time. A few days back the forecast was 11 degrees. 42 on Saturday is downright balmy :).

Its going to be cold when I leave, Saturday morning! It is getting down to 13 on Friday night :yikes:. . . good thing I bought that Firstgear Thermo suit! I'm looking forward to the ride . . . :ohyea:AAWX.jpg
