There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Larger Brake Pedal *Solved*

I would like a larger foot brake pedal. Has any one modded theirs, or know of a mod for it?
Have trouble finding it sometimes, and I think a larger pedal would solve this.. Maybe a large pedal from a vtx??

My wife felt the same way. I had a stock rear passenger footpeg laying around, so I unbolted the brake pedal, got a longer bolt and bolted on the passenger peg. She loves it!

Mine must be different... has 2 small bolts that that screw in from under the pedal to the pad...
I have bought a kuryakyn longhorn #8044 pedal cover and going to see if i can make it work.
Will see.....i'll let ya'll know if successful.

Brake pedal solved

I found a solution for a larger pedal pad. I bought a Kuryakyn Longhorn pedal pad# 8044. I had to modify the square end to fit flush ( grinded the end to fit the spyder's brake pedal ). The mounting bolt matched up with an existing hole, so no drilling was needed.
Here's a pic of it mounted.

I'll post a pic of the stock pad vs the longhorn tomorrow.

You would think that the BRAKE pedal would be IMPORTANT and not all of us have tiny feet?!?!? I have to almost turn my foot inward to get to it.. I'm on an RTS It is supposed to be for touring.... not quite set up for it... ie needs larger gas tank and cup holder ROFL!!! I do need a longer brake pedal though ... any suggestions?

I don,t want a wider brake pedal for my GS BUT because of the Sport leg angle I would like one 2 inches farther forward so I could get an improved leg angle and Leverage in an emergency stop?:dontknow:

For you RT folks looking for a wider pedal, I just talked to the ISCI folks. They are out of stock right now, but should have more extended brake pedals in about 2 1/2 weeks - about 1 1/2" wider than the OEM.

Does this pedal look as if it might fit the bill? It's from TricLEDS...
