• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Landrum s.c.

Were going.

We are heading up there on Thursday afternoon. I have an appointment to get my RTS aligned first thing Friday Morning. I don't want to miss the rides.

Landrum tomorrow

The Landrum, SC get together starts tomorrow, Friday, and goes through Sunday. If you have been sitting on the fence about riding in the SC/NC mountains, now's your chance.

The party's over

Had a great time at the Spyder gathering in Landrum, SC this weekend. This was my first event and I was able to meet a lot of regulars.

Got to see "Magic Mike" Loescher do some laser alignments on Spyders. It's amazing how far out some of the "factory/dealership" setups were.

Kristal was holding everything together. Nice lady.

Friday, we all took a ride to Cow Pens Battlefield. This is where the Colonialists broke open a can of Whoop Ass on the British. I don't mean to offend our present British friends, it was a long time ago.

On Saturday I led a "pick up" ride with Paul, Jean, Frankie, and my wife. It reminded me of Gilligan's Island. It was supposed to be a two hour tour that turned into six. Nothing bad happened, we just kept on riding and riding and riding. It was a beautiful day. We stopped off at the Lake Lure Hotel and Spa, this is where Patrick Swayze filmed Dirty Dancing. Then we went to Looking Glass Falls in the Pisgah National Forrest. To top the day off we rode about 25 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Not bad for not having a plan.
