• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Lol sorry Ken! Yes there is a shopping mart in the parking lot. Yes we will have most of your toppings you described. But to make it more fun if any cook chooses to up his line with his own special toppings "aka" lamonts chilli :D he is more than welcome to do so........ Sam trust me I think I'm going to need all the home field playing advantages I can get! I'm hoping Ken goes alittle easy on us....... But something tells me it's going to get pretty sticky once the crowds gets into it! It's going to be every man for himself!!!:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
I think I can eat more pancakes if there are less toppings on them.:popcorn:

Chili.....seriously.:helpsmilie::roflblack:

I am going to get into Lamont's line because I don't want to take any grief for going elsewhere. But do I have to eat his pancakes? :D

I was ryding sunday with a group of 6 spyders and 6 - 2 wheelers and strange as this may sound I was thinking about this pan cake contest and the light bulb went on. I have something at home here that I would like to bring but do not know if it will fit on my GS. I am not expecting to have a trailer that I could put this into.
I did run my idea across several of the ryders:chat: from Ca. that will be there and they just just about fell over with the idea so they may be helping me in the preperation of what I want to do.

I may need to ship 3 items to you and then have you ship them home for me. Is this possible? :dontknow:

Feb. is when I will know what I have to do, I am setting up a back up plan just in case that I will not be able to bring them by spyder. :ohyea:

We all better hope that Ken doesn't include that medicinal mary jane in his pancake recipe. I hear it induces something called the munchies. That could create an unfair advantage and a never ending food line. :roflblack:

Get Ken's "magic pancakes" and eat them while you're back in line for more!

It's an infinite loop, that is, until you explode! :D

Sure thing Ken!........ Well unless one of the secrets are some of the ingredinets mentioned above! :roflblack::roflblack: in that case please ship them to rtgene :roflblack: we will have him keep it secure! This might make it to the movies?!?:yikes: really no problem at all Ken just let me know and I'll take care of it! ....... And also thinking the rest of us are going to have to work hard to keep up! Lamont we may have to team up and cheat or something? I'm open for suggestions :helpsmilie:

There actually was a restaurant in California quite a few years back that made the news; they were high end and had lines out the door and literally around the corner waiting to get tables. Turns out the entrees were laced with cocaine and people really were addicted to their food!

Can't wait to hear what Ken has to ship. I think Len should consider having a mold made in the shape of a Spyder into which to pour his batter to give him a handicap over his admitted limited culinary skills. If they can't be great tasting - make them cute!

:agree: :2thumbs: I bet the mold would sell like hotcakes!

Since there are probably gonna be some leftover pancakes what is the chance that there might be some pancake and bologna sandwichs available for lunch?

I will need 3 power sources -one for the griddle and 2 for what I hope to bring or ship. :coffee:

Since this thread was falling down on the list, thought I'd drag it back to the top with a pancake related family recipe. Not sure who in my mom's side of the family started this but they are the only ones who seem to know of it.
As a kid we always had "thin" pancakes as a treat. Basically just plate sized crepes with enough sugar to let the edges crisp a bit and be good enough to eat with just a bunch of butter melting on them. YUM! But every spring when the gardens would flourish, Grandma would make a batch of wilted lettuce (leaf lettuce with sliced green onions wilted down with a hot dressing made from crisped bacon w/the grease, vinegar, sugar and water to make a dressing. You would take a hot "thin pancake", butter it, add white Karo syrup and then put a generous helping of the wilted lettuce w/vinegar dressing down the center and roll it like a jelly roll. Cut into bite size pieces and it's wonderful. Sounds weird but the sweet/sour flavors blend wonderfully! Len, this could be your signature dish and put you ahead of the competition!

The things I do in the name of friendship! At least he'll be coming on a set of tires that he actually paid for this time! :gaah:
