I installed the 17 inch last night fit great out of the box. Took a test drive works great hit 85 on the interstate. Will head out for Maggie Valley at 3pm tomorrow will give a real test. I’m 6’1. Looks great.

So I have a question on installation. Out of the box the windshield does not fit the stock frame. How difficult was it to get it to fit the stock frame!

I got my 19” Lamonster windshield a couple weeks ago and it fit the stock frame on my 2017 F3 Ltd perfectly. See my photo below.

Now I am going to attempt to install tonite. But when I initially took it out of the box, it was a good 1/2 inch off on one side. I hope I didn’t get a dud! I will let you know!

Install bolts loose on one side and press in the center of windshield it will flex it over to fit.

Ok I love this shield. I got the 15 inch and it is perfect. Wind goes right over the top of my head ( I am 5’8” ). The shield is a bit wider and actually blocks some of the wind from the hands. Looks great too with the darkest tint. Thanks to Lamont for this great windshield. Get well soon Lamont!

Well I recieved my Lamonster 15" windshield. No problem with mounting right out of the box, very happy with the comfort and reduced buffeting.

I have had my 15" installed for a while now. The wind hits me about eye level. I am 5'11", but I am very long in the torso. I have a couple of friends who have both a 17" and a 19". I can see fine over both of them. I will probably order a taller one. It was very easy to install in the stock mount.

I appreciate the posts on the windshields. They've helped me choose something to replace my stock shield and I ordered a dark 15" from Lamont this morning. I'm 5'6" so it sounds like it will work great for me. I just got my 2018 F3L a few weeks ago.

Windshield for F3 LTD

I have a 23 inch " F4 Customs " with a vent that I used about a month and decided that I needed a taller one. I have it for sale for 300 and shipping

It was on a 2017 F LTD Great just to short

The hands would be great, too. I have Bark Busters on my FJR and I miss them on my F3, especially in cold and/or rain.

Did you ever get the 17" or the 19" shield? Im 6' and thinking about getting the 19" shield. With that being said, could you barely see over the 19" or see well over it?
